Cressida wandered down the corridor of the College, looking into doors. She needed to find a suitable person to ask questions to. The night of the... She cast it out of her mind, not wanting to think about it. It had gotten to be her worst memory yet and she was trying to repress it.

Sighing, her appeal began to dampen as she couldn't find anyone in the vicinity who would know what to do.

The questions needed to be answered. She needed to know who she was and what she was turning into...

Wellby was practicing, or rather, attempting to hang on the ceiling. He would jump on to it and try to latch his hands and feet onto the ceiling quickly. If spiders could do it, so could he, he kept saying to himself.

But his efforts only resulted in a sore back and several loud thuds. However, this made Wellby only try harder; his determination always getting the best of him.

This time, Wellby succeeded in hanging on the ceiling for a split second, before falling right in front of someone that had been walking down the hall.

When something fell down from the ceiling, Cressida jumped and screamed, swearing very colourfully.

Breathing deeply, she liquified and slithered a few metres away before reappearing again, just to distance herself from the... thing, whatever it was.

Noticing a short male, she cocked her head, "What the hell...." she muttered under her breath.

Her eyes flashed a menacing black, "What do you think you're doing?" Cressida demanded.

Wellby jumped up quickly, his face showing his embarrasement.

"Sorry.", he replied. "Spiders, how do they do it? I am trying to find out their secret."

"What are you doing at this late hour?", he asked, "I thought classes are done by now, unless my observations are incorrect."

"Right..." Cressida said slowly in a tone that suggested the male was mad. "And you suddenly wanted to find that out did you?" she asked, slightly bordering onto sarcasm.

Cressida gave it a quick thought and shrugged, "It's simple," she said casually, "If you have the ability to stick to walls, then it's no biggy. The rest of the population will have to watch with envy."

"What am I doing?" she echoed incredulously, "What are you doing?" Cressida turned the direction of the question, "You certainly don't go to this place."

She studied him thoughtfully before replying, "They are. I've got a few questions unanswered. What are you? Some stalker?" she finished scornfully.

"Not suddenly!", Wellby said innocently. "This is the only place I could find that had a ceiling low enough."

He ignored the answer to his question. Wellby had been told scientific things over and over again. He was one day going to defy all reason.

"Well, you saw what I was doing.", he said sarcastically. "What kind of a question is that?"

Wellby realized his heart was way out of place. He was not being very evil at this moment, like he is with everybody else. Maybe it was that strange feeling, embarrasment. He had only felt that awkward once in his life before.

He walked right up to the girl and fiercely stared. "What questions? I am no stalker."

Cressida snorted, "And how did you come to that conclusion?"

She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. The student was going to explain, albeit slowly as this person obviously didn't get a word she said, but she couldn't be bothered. He had already explained in a weird way. The school had a low enough ceiling. Pathetic reason that was.

Cressida nearly laughed in his face. Here was a short guy who thought he was all it. She raised an eyebrow, amused, "Those questions are of no concern to you unless you know the art of the body, of which," she paused and flicked a gaze from the ceiling to him, "You certainly don't, gathering the knowledge of that little fiasco."

Her body elongated so she was towering over him even more. She enjoyed the sensation of that, relishing it if only for a brief moment, "Well a stalker wouldn't say they were a stalker. How idiotic would that be?" she carried on distastefully.

With that, she snapped back to her original height and waited.

Wellby left it at that. He was getting annoyed by how the person treated him just because of his height.

Wellby glared, Wellby really glared with a gaze so intense it would send any normal being running.

"The body, maybe, but I know the mind better than almost anyone. Your questions do not pertain to the body, because you must know enough to say that I don't." Wellby argued with enthusiasm.

He especially didn't like how she grew. 'How convienent, she's trying to grow on me' Wellby smiled at the irony of that last thought.

"Ah, but a stalker with a mind like mine would suspect someone to think that, therefore not denying being a stalker to make you think he isn't. Do you understand that?" Wellby intergued.

"And I have questions as well. But considering you use logic to explain the answer, I might not want to ask you." He stated.

Wellby thought for a second. 'That last statement was useless', he thought, 'But then again, we'll see.'

Cressida narrowed her eyes as the guy shot her a long look that she supposed was meant to send people to their doom. Cressida of course, was not scared in the slightest and looked back, making her eyes swirl to an impenetrable darkness.

She raised an eyebrow, "And what if I don't know enough that I have questions?" Cressida asked. It felt as if she was going around and around a circle and she was getting slightly confused.

"Reverse psychology huh?" she said, tossing his question aside.

Cressida shook her head slightly, "Right..." she said slowly, "So what are your questions? Who else are you going to ask here anyway?" Cressida looked around in emphasis.

Wellby looked into that intense stare. Then he recieved a wild idea. Wellby usually didn' act upon instinct, but this was too good to resist.

He blew sharply into those swirling eyes.

"Then there's pretty much no point in asking." Wellby stated the obvious answer.

'Forget reverse pyschology' he thought, 'I'm getting nowhere with this person.'

"I could ask you the same question. What would you answer?" Wellby turned the idea around. He was itching for a conversation which would go somewhere quick.
