Fernando laughed heartily, he was in his element.
'Oh, right!' he exclaimed, staring down at the man on the floor in bemusement.
He bent down and prodded the man's cold, clammy cheek with one curious finger.
'Out hard and cold...'
Now that Wellby had revealed his identity he felt a little more at ease and his hard demeanor was replaced with his usual humour.
The elf's heart leapt as Wellby picked up the dark man, the fun was about to begin!
Fernando tied him to the fan and stared at his work. The man looked like a pig ready for slaughter!
'Pork for dinner Wellby? Or would you prefer beef?' he asked, pointing at the unconscious man.
An evil grin warped itself over his handsome face and he stifled a giggle.
'Fan... Pig... Rope...' he said slyly, 'What do you propose, my friend?'

"Like a bad boiled egg." Wellby humored at the man's unconciousness.
He smiled at the statement. Wellby loved torture. "I've always preferred pig."
He winked. "Just watch this."
He threw the scrambling man off of his shoulder. Then, gathering his energies together, he warped the gravity under the man till he started to float up. Once accomplished, Wellby grabbed the rope, tied it to the enemies ankle, and cut some of the strands just above the knot.
Tossing the rope to Fernando, Wellby asked, "Will you tie this to the fan?"

The elf sniggered at Wellby's joke.
'Right.'
Fernando leant against the wall and listened to the hail for a moment, it was getting heavier. He walked over to the window and opened it for a second, a ball of ice the size of a cricket ball flew in and landed on the floorboards. He picked it up and hefted it in his left hand.
'Neat.' he walked over and put it down the dark man's shirt, laughing as he writhed under the scalding cold.
The elf tied the second man up to the fan and frowned as the roof began to crack under the weight of the two men. He manipulated the beams of the roof and the wood crept in liquid tendrils to harden over the base of the fan and support it.
'That should do it.' he said, satisfied.
A sudden thought struck his mind.
'What are you, Wellby?' he didn't know how else to frame the question and it sounded a little direct, 'Just curious.' he added to show that he wasn't being nosy.

Wellby finished his dirty preparations and stood up.
"What am I?", he wondered aloud. "I guess I'm officially defined by necromancer, but I don't go around killing people for organizations and stuff. More of a freelance type, I guess. Why do you ask? It's kinda obvious what I do."
"Then again, what are you?" he asked, Wellby realized he knew almost knothing of this man and determined to find out.
He turned back to the squirming man on the floor. "Ready?"

'Necromancer...' he mumbled, biting his lip in thought, 'Right.'
The elf's eyes opened wide at the question. Gee, he hoped he hadn't sounded that direct!
'I'm an agent. 'Secret' agent - if you wish, but that's a bit of a cliche` saying. I work for an organisation. Sorry friend, but that's all I can tell you - anything else and I'd have to try and kill you to defend my secrecy.' he threatened, smiling crookedly, he wasn't exactly sure if he was joking or not.
'Alas, I'd still prefer it if you didn't blow my cover. If you know what I mean - I don't want people recognising me everywhere I go - I have caused to much grief and I'm afraid all too many people want their revenge on me for my liking.'
Drawing a golden dagger with a ruby in its hilt Fernando smiled devilishly.
'After you.'

Wellby grinned from ear to ear. His green eyes twinkled. "I'd like to see you try to kill me, it'd be very entertaining."
"If I blow your cover, you'll have to trust my reasoning, just like I would trust yours. Besides, all the people downstairs can already guess what you are anyway, I don't think I'd need to say a word."
Then he remembered a word Fernando said. "Grief? How do you feel about that?"
His eyes narrowed in excitement. Wellby walked over and flipped the switch.

Fernando returned the grin
'Entertaining... sure. But just remember, I didn't get to my position because of my looks!' he laughed, seemingly light hearted about the whole notion... but in truth he was serious, he just hoped he wouldn't have to show this man what he truly meant.
'You'd trust my reasoning despite the short time we have known each other?' he queried, eyebrows raised in innocent curiosity, 'Really now? Damn... maybe I should've been a little bit more cautious when attacking...' he frowned then beamed happily as a thought struck, 'None of those foolish drunkards'll remember anything by the time they wake up in the gutters anyway! These folk drink themselves sensless... sad for them but an advantage for men like me.'
Running ideas of torture over his mind he grinned maliciously and clicked his heels together, sharp blades slid out from the toe of his boots and he looked innocently up at Wellby. Taken aback by the necromancer's sudden question, his jaw opened and closed a few times like a gaping fish.
'Grief?' he repeated, as if seeking confirmation, 'I believe it's a useless emotion ingrained into the human mind. I mean, who needs it? I say pack your bags and get nimbly on with life.'
He scratched his head absently, frowning as he thought further about the question thrown at him.
'I might have to get back to you on that one I think... I haven't really thought about the emotion yet...'
Grinning as Wellby flicked the switch, Fernando watched as t he men began to swirl round and round... although not fast enough for his liking.
'Any other speeds there mate?' he asked, motioning to the switch, 'Let's test their stomachs... see if that ale's settled yet!'
A sudden notion suddenly struck him.
'Wellby... why is it that you enjoy this? Torture... I mean.'
