"I know. If Izak killed me, you should have no trouble with it," she spat back. She grimaced again as she cracked her neck.

"I do not enjoy pain. But I guess I deserve it."

Lilith's head cracked to the side when the Cursed slapped her across the face. She cried out and went down on one knee. She felt blood trickle out of the corner of her mouth. She was lifted up by the collar. Sadly she stared back into the Cursed's eyes.

"I've already thrown my life away. What could I possibly do to worsen it?"

She did not however like the idea of being thrown. Lilith grabbed a hold of his wrists and twisted her collar out of his grip.

"I have no trouble with it. I'm sure if I tried, you would go down in a second...but do you really want that?" Kazi asked, running his hand throuhg his hair.

Kazi snorted before shrugging. "Whatever you say."

He felt Lilith pull away from his grip but instead and grabbed her arm and pinned her to the wall. His free hand covered his eye, which was reluctantly crying, with his blond hair. "By losing it for good." He answered. "You can lose it forever, that'll be the worst that you could do."

Kazi released her and backed away, wiping the remaining tear away. "Do you want to kill me? Do you want me to be in pain? Would you like to see me in pain?" He asked turning around.

Lillith shook her head.

"I do not want to die," she said softly, more or less to herself than the Cursed.

She took a shaky breath when the Cursed pinned her against the wall. Her heart pounded in her chest as she realised that he would kill her if given the chance.

"What have I ever done for you to come to that conclusion?" she asked, "I may have killed Izak, I may have released you...can't you just accept that I made a mistake?!!" she screamed, hot, angry tears rolling down her cheeks. She slid down the wall, the tears continously falling.

"You hate me, Izak hates me, Rayil hates me, everyone hates me...and all because I made stupid mistakes in my past. Maybe I should wish for death..." she whispered, burrowing her face into her knees.

"Then why do you act like you do? Types like you make me sick." He spat, twisting around. "Especially demons." He added maliciously.

Kazi turned around, his red eye seemed as if it could pierce solid metal. He was angry. "A mistake that could've costed both our lives!" He screamed.
As if the elements could feel his wrath, storm clouds had taken over the blue sky and had released a loud lightning strike just outside, setting one of the nearby trees of fire. Then the cascade of rain came, putting the fire out and pattering strong against one of the stain-glass windows.

His anger subsided and a devillish smirk took over his refined features. He went down on one knee before her and gently tok her chin into his cold hands. "Do you want me to grant that wish?" He asked, not an ounce of mercy in his voice.

"It is your choice."

Lilith looked up, her red eyes no longer weeping. Now it was replaced with pity.

"I wouldn't expect you to understand. You've spent so long in solitude..." Lilith trailed off, not quite sure how to finish that particular sentence.

"I'm not the demon I once was. I'm not hardened and heartless...like you."

Lilith took a sharp breath when she felt the Cursed cold hands on her chin. But she returned his gaze calmly.

"You know as well as I do, I do not want to die again," she murmured, "but the question is, do you really want to kill me? I may be your only link to the past..."

Lilith leant back against the wall and let her hands fall to her sides.

"So really, is it your choice."

"Solitude? I spent 20,000 years killing and 200 years chained up in the back of Izak's mind. Of course I'd be in solitude." Kazi laughed as if it was the most obvious thing ever.

Kazi laughed harder. "Nice comeback, but who was heartless enough to release me?" He replied, licking his lips.

"Che, your link to my past is as broken as a shattered vase." He answered, smirking darkly. "You leave your life up to me? Really, what happened to you?" He muttered, slowly pulling his sword out making a slithering metallic sound. It was only a second before he pressed the cold blade against Lilith's throat. His red eye gleamed within the darkened church as the rain continued to drum against the windows.
"Wanna die?"

Lilith's face hardened, like someone who had looked upon a gorgon, slowly turning to stone.

"Just because I released you does not mean I am heartless. But if you insist on me being like you, I must oblige," she hissed, her red eyes flashing. Lilith ignored the Cursed's comment.

"What happened to me? It was called a dawn of realisation. I realised how corrupted I had become, how many lives I had ruined," she said, her eyes never leaving the Cursed's. When the blade was pressed against her throat, she held up a hand and stroked the cold metal.

She smiled.
"I've answered this question before. No, I don't. But somehow, I don't think you're going to kill me."

Kazi laughed coldly. "You seem angry. I like that look." He muttered, flashing his own single red eye of a demon.

"Your realisation came a bit late didn't it?" He sneered, his mis-matched eyes narrowing. "Those ruined lives aren't going to recover." He said mockingly. "But, I guess your life is just as ruined as everyone else right now huh?" He laughed right in front of Lilith, evil and cold, without an ounce of feeling to it.

Kazi stopped laughing and stared at her for a moment before snorting and breaking into a laugh again. "You make me sick!" He yelled, half laughing still. "So sick in fact I just can't stop laughing."

He pulled his sword away, touching the sharp end of the metal with his fingers. It pierced the skin easily and blood flowed out of where he touched the blade. The crimson colour stained the pure silver of the blade. "You're right, I can't kill you." He admitted. "I seemed to have lost my edge...but I never said I won't make your life and absolute living hell." He said shrugging. "You should know that I like seeing people in pain."

Slowly he bought his bloodied hand to his face, covering the golden eye, then he slid his hand down his face, causing red streak of blood, while laughing lightly. "Too see red is what I live for..."

Lilith smiled evilly.

"This is not anger. I can be angry if you want me to be," she said, raising an eyebrow. She then laughed without any sense of humour.

"I guess you're right. My dawn of realisation came later than expected."

She turned away when the Cursed cut his finger. Lilith didn't need to see that. She'd seen enough blood in her lifetime. She did however smile when she was agreed with. Once she thought he was finished, she turned back to face him. A streak of blood ran down his face.

"I don't care what you live for. You're not my problem anymore," she said, shrugging. Then she realised that there was a question she needed answered.

"Why is it that whenever we cross paths you try to kill me? What is the true reason behind your hate?" she asked. Then she smiled, "I'll make you a deal. Give me a real reason behind your hate, and I'll let you whatever you want to me. Torture, kill, it doesn't matter. But if you're reason is as pathetic as the argument we've been having, I'll simply turn and walk away. Deal?"

"Joy, but, sadly, I don't want to see it." He replied mockingly, his face held a devillish smile.

Kazi sighed before raising his sword against Lilith, slashing it down ruthlessly, not caring whether or not it hit. The cold metal crashed into the stone ground and caused it to crack and, with some pieces, fly off. "Stop acting so smug hmm? You are starting to piss me off."

The Demon Prince eyes widened before he realised that she had caught him red-handed. A dark smile slipped onto his face. "You sure know your deals don't you?" He closed his eyes, his evil smile still there. "Then you answer me one before I answer yours...why do you want to live?" He asked casually. "I'm already dead...I have been dead for about 20,000 years until you brought me back, so really, I stopped living long ago."

"So? You answer mine before I answer yours."
