Wellby woke up to find himself in an alleway. He had no memory of being here. The sun had not risen yet, which gave him some time to find shelter and discover what has happened. But first he must discover something.

He saw a dark shadow in the back of the alley, and moved straight for it.

Pulling it forward, Wellby demanded, with a quiet but stern voice, "Where am I, tell me immediately!"

Fwrthyrn was resting, leaning on the wall from his ordeal. He needed to catch his breath, and his dark cloak was doing the job efficiently in making sure he wasn't disturbed.

Breathing raggedly, he felt a tug and snapped his eye open to glare at whoever it was. His red eye pulsed, narrowing to the male in front.

Fwrthyrn summoned the darkness to wrap around his hands, "You are in an alleyway," he answered coolly, hostility brimming from his body.

He cast a distasteful look up and down, "What are you?" he hissed venomously, noting the size of the fellow. Fwrthyrn wrenched the cloak from his grip, straightening it.

"I am what I am, everything else is none of your concern."

"Now," hissed Wellby, "I need more information than what your are giving me. Tell me what town I am in, and I will let you live."

Of course, Wellby wasn't planning on killing him. He found this creature could possibly of use to him. This creature was different, Wellby could not smell anything from him. He must discover more...

Raising an eyebrow, Fwrthyrn managed a crooked smile. Finally... someone who might be like him. Fwrthyrn was bored being the only one who didn't disclose information. Thing was, was that he could tell this fellow wasn't a demon, which nirked him a bit. He only came back from the dead to get his revenge.

"Oh is it now?" he answered, smirking.

"What town?" Fwrthyrn repeated, sweeping his gaze around, over the male's head, "Why, it's the Town of Stranraer, of course. Where have you been?" he asked, his voice mocking.

Fwrthyrn crossed his arms, barely concealing an amused look. He was having fun indeed.

"You will let me live?" Fwrthyrn erupted into raucous laughter. "Of course you wouldn't have known, but I'm already dead," he spat, a hint of anger in his voice.

"Dead!", Wellby replied in his most sarcastic voice, "Well, in that case...you must live a sorrowful life, and you have my pity."

He was having a difficult time concealing his smile after that remark.

"Stranraer...funny, I've never heard of it." Wellby softly wispered, but just enough to get this creature interested, "Clever move..."

Wellby fixed this creature with an intense gaze. "I'm curious...what year is it?"

Jacqueline had been wondering over the rooftops, looking for someone to drink when her attention was drawn to a curious conversation happening below. She crouched down, leaning slightly over the gutter so that she might see who was talking.

Jacqueline recognized one as a demon who had fought with Izak. But the other she wasn't so sure about. The stranger seemed slightly distressed at first but regained composture as the conversation lengthened.

As she leaned over the gutter further, the gutter collasped beneath her. She struggled to regained her balanced and just hoped that both were distracted enough to not notice her.

"I don’t need pity and I certainly don’t want yours," he said coldly. "I merely exist on this earth," he drawled lazily.

Fwrthyrn’s face twitched slightly, "So where have you been to not know this place?” he asked. “How did you come to be here?”

“Year?” his face took on a blank look. That really did stump him. What year was it? It seemed a long time, and Fwrthyrn didn’t keep track, as he was dead and all. He shrugged casually, “Don’t ask me, I’m dead.”

Before he was about to ask another question, a noise stimulated his reflexes. His head turned sharply, his eyes narrowing. There didn’t seem to be anyone else in the alleyway so Fwrthyrn cast it out of his mind, although his body was still tense. Using another precaution, the darkness around his hands started to grow, swirling matters in its wake.

Exist...Wellby thought. Without knowing it, he said in a whisper, "I should be the dead one..."

He snapped out of his mind. "So, I will confide in you where I come from (he heard a noise, but didn't change his composture) ...later."

He barely whispered, "Relax, they are only on the roof."

Jacqueline listened in curiousity, but it seemed that she had been found out anyway. Th demon reacted much quicker than the other and she noticed the darkness gathering around his hands.
Se turned her attention back onto the other figure. Jacqueline jumped down off the roof and landed in front of them, surveying them with her grey eyes.

"They has a name." she said to them, crossing her arms.

"Ah, so you have decided to come out of hiding." Wellby stated, he was not suprised by this action, he was trying to get this thing down anyway. "Excellent. Maybe you will reveal more than he has."
