I have to take drama for 3 years before I can drop it. This year's my last.
Oh yes, definitely. I cast my eyes away from the person though, and I can't help blushing either.
If it's a show, I normally watch with my sister and we both go "Oh no" with dread in our voices, then we peek under our hands to see what the results are.
Aww Dawn!
Denting pride, ego, self-esteem hurts as well, and you think the shame will be there forever. In most cases it will be, but then in some, they'll forget it the next day.
It's embarrassing when people see a particular someone in a particular way. So when the particular someone talks to you, you are embarrassed because everyone sees the particular person in a particular way.
Don't know if you got a word of that.
Just stay indoors to escape embarrassment in reality. In cyberworld, it's perfectly fine to get embarrassed

As long as you don't know them in real life either.

I am starved of conversation you understand, which is vexing, pinioned as I am here on this lonely outcrop as the life of the fair city swirls round and past me. There is no wit, no variation to divert me from the depressing spectacle of the gentle men of the law strutting in and out of that magnificent theatre of lies opposite.'
