StatisticsEach member has the following statistics in their profile:
Gold
XP Level/Point
-------------------------
Health/Power
Attack/Defence
------------------------
Abilities
You can view them by going to the Memberlist and then clicking on your name, or clicking on "Statistcs" in your signature next to your biography link.
Before we begin, I want to make myself clear that the system concerning these statistics will
not take place in any other board apart from the Arena of Combat. This will ensure the liberty of role-playing freely everywhere else, although your abilities may be limited as they are linked to this system.
Any people who are uncomfortable with this new system to do with statistics, and will not role-play in the Arena of Combat at all to increase their abilities and attributes, please PM me and you may carry on as if nothing has happened. This system is just to spark some fun into things, get the competitiveness going and hopefully encourage you to role-play in quests. You can receive prizes such as abilities, and an increase of statistics if you play your cards right.
So, what do the above attributes mean?
Your gold is basically your money. Each member will have the same amount of gold to start off. Other things to do with your gold is described below.
Abilities depend on the XP Level/Point system. Experience is counted by 100 points for every level, 10 levels - 1000 points in total. Once a character has enough experience points (200 = Level 2, 500 = Level 5 etc.) then they can advance to the next experience level. This will also increase your statistics by 25 points.
Health/Power & Attack/Defence are your attributes for fighting your opponents. More will be described down below.
Abilities ... well that's obvious. Read all about your abilities
here.
These statistics will help role-players fight a decent game. As the only fighting going on here results in the Arena of Combat, the attributes will be defined in your profiles and only accessible to staff. Each member has the same amount of statistics to create equity. People with over 500 posts are on XP Level/Point 2/200 but their other statistics are still the same as everyone else.
As characters continue role-playing and taking part in battles, quests etc. their statistics will increase and decrease.
