"Why don't you try and get magic from other worlds? You're a genius, why can't you extract it from someone?"

"Unless you're not really," Cressida smirked, playing with Ludevec slyly.

She grabbed a leaf as it spiralled in front of her. Feeling the texture she began to rip it, feeling the effect.

"I don't have time to be looking all over each parallel world for someone else to use," Ludevec snapped heatedly, "It's alot easier to just use Amy since she's in my world. And its easier to use her magic and then get rid of her at the same time."

"Just because I'm a genius doesn't mean I can do the impossible!" he snarled, his temper boiling again, "I'm only human...."

Cressida snorted, "Yeah, and only 15," she muttered dryly under her breath, whilst rolling her eyes.

She watched as she realised the sun was setting. Walking away from the lake, she headed back to the College.

"I've got to go back indoors now... It was... good... meeting you," Cressida paused in her stride, her head tilted slightly.

She then turned fully round and started walking again.

Ludevec watched her leave, glaring after her.

"Girls...." he muttered sourly, turning away from the lake to find someplace hidden to stay for the night. Once sitting under a nearby tree, hidden from the lake, he surveyed the lake again as the sun started to set over the horizon. For the first time, he couldn't help feeling that he had finally come across someone who actually understood what he went through in the past. This world was getting more interesting with each day.

Minibot curled up next to him, placing his head on Ludevec's lap, weary. He was just glad his creator didn't end up drawing swords with anyone and not getting hurt, even though he was close to loosing his cool a few times today. A while later, Ludevec had finally fallen asleep underneath the tree. Since they were in an unfamiliar world, Minibot had to keep watch for the night. He was wondering how long it was going to be before someone or something else came along......

Fwrthyrn stumbled through the bushes into a clearing. He looked around, puzzled when his eyes sought a lake.

Noticing a bundle under a tree, Fwrthyrn lifted himself and hovered above whatever it was.

"Oh, it's you," he said dully, as he recognised the familiar face.

Minibot was the first to wake at the sound of the voice. Startled, he looked up, locating the direction of the voice, and noticed a familiar cloaked figure hovering above them. Ludevec hadn't even moved yet; he was still sound asleep, and it was sometimes hard to wake him up since he was a heavy sleeper.

"Master..." Minibot whispered carefully, prodding him. "You need to wake up now...." Ludevec started stirring at the third nudge, his eyes flickering open groggily.

"What?" He muttered, rubbing his head wearily, his mind not fully awake yet. He quickly glanced upward, following Minibot's eyes. He instantly recognized the figure, and climbed to his feet.

"I wasn't expecting you here..." he said coolly.

Fwrthyrn landed with a thump, his hands securing his hood and making sure it still covered his face.

"And what were you expecting?" Fwrthyrn asked with an amused expression.

His red eye took in the surroundings. "Do you just sleep anywhere?" Fwrthyrn raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing, actually," Ludevec added coolly. "Although Minibot is alert for everything, so we were expecting anyone...."

He scowled with irritation for a moment at the demon's remark. "No, I don't. I picked this spot because it was well-hidden from anyone's view," he answered, "...Or at least it was supposed to be." He added on ironically.

Fwrthyrn's eye flickered to the robot briefly before dismissing it. He turned his head sharply at a sound echoing nearby, but when it concluded to nothing, Fwrthyrn pinned his gaze on the genius.

"You don't choose your places very well," he remarked sourly, "Anyone could have made you out like a sheep in a field."

He paused, "I have abilities to sense heat and radioactivity movement anyway."

The darkness swirled around his fists, "So... any updates on the girl?"

Ludevec's face twitched a little with annoyance at his remark. His temper was beginning to bubble again, and he was trying hard to keep it under.

"This was the best place that was hidden, even though it doesn't hide much," he answered coolly, with a hint of irritation. "I don't want to draw any attention."

"No, there's nothing new on her," he added casually, "Except for the fact is that she's been on the move a lot more often than usual, and apparently she found help with her magic at the college....as well as finding more friends."
