A cloud of greenish electricity appeared out of nowhere near the lake. A strange figure emerged from it, along with a small three-foot spider-like robot. The figure, Ludevec, scanned over the area of the lake, his bright green eyes gleaming with anxiety.

"Damn," he cursed, glancing at his wristwatch. He had missed Amy by an hour; she was here not that long ago. That girl was getting too hard to track now, especially since she was running around a completely unfamiliar world, supposedly a fantasy world. That idiot fantasy freak, always with her head in the clouds....literally. As if this world wasn't filled with enough of all the fantasy she would die for. He ran his pale fingers through his jet-black hair, which only fell a little past his ears. It was going to take him a while to figure out another plan to get to her, if he ever found her again.

"Minibot, keep a lookout for anyone," he said coldly to his robotic assistant as he positioned himself on a rock. He pushed something on his wristwatch, activating a invisibility device that made him completely invisible to anyone except for Minibot. He hated to attract attention, especially when he had one of his robots with him.

He stared out onto the nearby lake, the afternoon sunlight reflecting on its surface. For a few moments, he relaxed his mind and body, trying to relieve as much anxiety as he could, and then closed his eyes and massaged his temples gently as he started to meditate. He blocked out all sound and distractions since he hated to be interrupted while he was thinking, hoping no one was going to come along.

Cressida slithered quietly through the foliage to her nightly place to rest and think about the day.

She reached the spot and smiled. No one was there, as always.

Sighing, she walked slowly forwards and settled comfortably near the water's edge on the ground.

Coming here often, she didn't expect that there was something, so she rested and relaxed, until...

((sorry.....I just get anxious when no one replies for a while.))

"Master Ludevec...." Minibot suddenly squeaked quietly, nudging him carefully. He knew that his creator didn't like to be interrupted while meditating, but this was urgent. "There's someone here......"

Irritated now, Ludevec quickly reverted back to reality.....or in this case, back to the world he was in. Minibot had left his hiding spot and was now next to him, staring curiously at an unfamiliar figure near the edge of the lake. Ludevec eyed the figure suspiciously for a moment. The figure was only a girl, and she was definitely not Amy.

He quickly pressed something on his wristwatch and turned off the invisibility cloak around him. Minibot also shimmered back into view, still staring curiously at the girl.

"Funny, I wasn't expecting anyone to come here," he spoke up coolly to her, still watching her suspiciously, "Luckily, you're not the one I'm looking for."

Cressida jumped up quickly and whipped around to glare at the person who wasn't there before, but was now. Narrowing her eyes, it finally came to her that this was "Ludevec" and the little robot. Cursing, Cressida's hands moved from her belt to in front of her in one motion, where knives had now appeared.

"You're in my spot," she snarled in reply. "Who are you looking for?" Cressida asked sarcastically, "Oh yeah, the gir... Amy," she continued to mock.

The experience in the alleyway wasn't a nice one, and Cressida knew this person was a threat. She twirled her knives dangerously, her eyes flashing in anger. Where once before she was relaxed, it was now gone completely, thanks to this git. Cressida thought.

Noticing the girl's hands moving towards her blades on her belt, Minibot slowly moved in front of Ludevec protectively. He was the only robot with him, so he had to protect him at the moment. Ludevec had grown tense, his hand moving towards his own sword handle on his belt.

"I didn't know anyone claimed this spot," he snickered coolly, watching her carefully. The girl was starting to irritate him even more. "Amy was here earlier. I was only here to rethink my plans to find her."

Cressida looked down at the little robot and smirked. It was pathetic. "Well you wouldn't," Cressida retorted viciously, intent to snipe through every statement he made.

"Escaped your wrath, has she?" she mocked, smirking. "Anyway, why are you after her?" Cressida looked him up and down, and raised an eyebrow as the final gesture.

Minibot didn't flinch at the girl's look; he just glared back at her, hoping she wasn't going to start using her blades. Even though he was only three ft tall and weaker than the rest of his creator's robots, he was usually the one that stood his ground when threats were being exchanged.

"I'm after her because I need her dead!" Ludevec snapped, his temper boiling higher now. Minibot could sense it, and he stood firm, hoping his creator wouldn't lose his cool, which he occasionally did in these conversations.

Ludevec hated it when he was ridiculed, especially by a girl. This one was underestimating him way too much with her mocking replies. He revealed his sword's green blade, but didn't move; maybe it was time for her to learn who she was dealing with.

"But why though?" Cressida asked, pursing her lips and folding her arms.

She noticed Ludevec edging his sword out. Her hands left their folded embrace and now held the blades in a dangerous position, Cressida getting into her martial arts stance.

She raised an eyebrow, "What are you going to do? Kill me with your pathetic sword?" Cressida snorted, "People these days are so weak," she muttered under her breath, shaking her head.

Looking at Ludevec with amusement, she contemplated whether using her abilities would jolt some fun in her life.

"Master....I think it would be better if you put your sword away for now," Minibot suddenly spoke up, glancing at him. The tension between them was thick; he could sense it by the way they kept glaring at each other. "She hasn't even attacked yet."

Ludevec hesitated for a moment, then retracted his blade back into the handle. Minibot was right, which rarely happened; he couldn't lose his temper now. It would be easier to find out about the girl as much as he could for now.

"Her and her little Race are in my way," he answered, "I won't have her screwing things up if I start my plans for invading. Unfortunately, she keeps wiggling out of my attacks every so often."

He kept holding the sword handle towards the ground, watching to see if she would make a move.

"Ill only kill you if you get on my nerves, or you get in my way," he added coldly.
