Meirion surveyed her surroundings before stepping in. Everything was in serenity, and there were only a few students hanging about here and there. They won't disturb us... she thought.

She looked inside her bag and got her device out, twiddling with some features to prepare for her meeting with Amy.

Looking at the time she wondered where she was. Meirion turned around but couldn't see her.

Sighing she sat down on one of the chairs waiting for her.

Amy quickly hurried through the college halls, trying to find her way to the right place....the refectory was it?

Wow, this place reminds me of the Harry Potter series... she found herself thinking as she sprinted down the hallways. She shook her head frantically at this; this was no time to be daydreaming, let alone to be acting as a fantasy freak....

She skidded to a stop outside one of the rooms. It was the right room. Trying to catch her breath, she finally opened the door, and stepped in....

Meirion stood up as soon as she saw Amy. She smiled, "Hey, you made it."

She paused and looked around her, "There are a few people about, but they won't bother us," she reassured.

"So are you ready? Because if you are, let's begin," Meirion grinned, excited at the prospect at teaching a new student.

"What do you want to begin with?" Meirion asked.

Thinking that Amy could well be confused, she hastily added, "If you have any questions, feel free to ask."

"Sorry, I'm a little late," Amy answered, "I ran into trouble again...."

"I'm ready, but I'm not sure what to begin with.." she added on. She was still confused with what she should learn here....

"No worries," Meirion smiled, "I understand."

She frowned in thought, "Hmm... Well let's see. List the abilities you have, and then think of ones you could improve on."

"I can teach you easier methods, but it depends on what you know," she carried on.

"How about you tell me every magical ability in detail. As a starting point," Meirion finished.

"Okay,"Amy answered back, "I know how to vanish and appear from place to place, block attacks with magic, and basically just magic. I was hoping to learn how to move things telepathically or turn invisible...."

She wasn't sure if she was being clear enough. That was as much detail as she could put in without making it confusing....

Meirion nodded, showing interest, "Where did you learn all of that and what methods do you use? Do you just think of it or act on impulse because it's second nature?" she continued to quiz.

"Right, those are what we are going to do today then," Meirion said decidedly.

"What do you want to start with, or don't you mind?"

"Blocking and materializing from place to place came as an advantage when I first recieved magic," Amy explained, "I think I act on impulse to do it, though.."

"I don't mind what we start with," she added on happily, "Whatever is fine with you."

"Ah I see," Meirion nodded. She clapped her hands and proceeded to rub them against each other in anticipation.

"Ok, let's start with telekinesis." Meirion paused and thought, thinking of the easiest ways.

"Right. This has a lot to do with the mind, so I want you to concentrate when doing this. At the minute, you know nothing about it, correct?" she raised an eyebrow in emphasis but carried on.

"So," Meirion placed an oblong shape in front of her. "I want you to imagine strings are attached to this block. Once you've secured it, pick the object up using the strings."

"Not real strings, just your mind. So... any questions?"

"I know very little about it," Amy answered, "I used to know someone who was psychic, and she could do things like this..."

"Umm...yes," Amy answered weakly as the block was placed on the floor in front of her, "How am I supposed to secure it? I get the part of imagining strings, but...."

She trailed off, staring at the block in confusion. This was going to be a lot harder than she thought.
