Ray slowed his tails when the demon covered himself in vines. When he received Izak's message he paused their advance fully. They surrounded the demon, a fair distance back, slowly curling and twitching. So he couldn't touch him with the tails? Fine he would use one of his other tricks...

Ray summoned a swirling vortex of air to surround the demon, as this would suck out the air, and suffocate the demon while putting out the fire, not that it really bothered Ray. He then made the air contain lots of globules of light energy, and then fired some balls of light directly at the demon. To try and prevent the demons escape he capped the ends of the vortex with swirling light...

Ray felt his tails grow smaller as the use of magic took it's toll on him. Even though light came from fire, it was only fire he could use without any real problem. Hopefully the demon wouldn't notice...

Ray sent a telepathic message back to Izak while he was doing this. Thank-you for the warning. And good idea at not speaking verbally. If you see me need a bit of energy might you supply me with a bit?

Now all there was to do was wait for the demon's response...

Fwrthyrn smirked when the angel stopped his tails yet still had him surrounded. Obviously he had caught on, but he felt that there was more to this than met the eye. He flicked his gaze behind the angel to look at Izak and Freya.

He fought back with his own. Darkness continued to wrap around Fwrthyrn, spiralling up his body. Fwrthyrn felt his airways closing. Resulting in different means, he tried to breath shallower and slower. His fire was put out, but that didn’t matter. The air had something in between them. Light, his weakness. Fwrthyrn magnified the outcome of the evil he emanated and enclosed the air. Balls of light zoomed his way, but the vines around his body quickly snatched them up in its wrath and swallowed it, darkness replacing everything.

"Do you think I’ll be going anywhere?" he snarled, seeing the attack was preventing him to escape. "I’ll leave that to you, chicken."

Earth tentacles reached from below to seize the light in its grasp, crunching it in its wake. Fwrthyrn let out a dark laugh, clearly in his element.

Finding herself in the darkness and seeing the rest of the forest alight with light seemed a little strange, though Freya knew who was doing it of course.

She smiled, sensing something between Izak and Rayil-it couldn’t be a coincidence that as soon as Izak went into coma mode that Rayil stopped flicking his tails near Fwrthyrn. She knew that even Rayil couldn’t keep this up for long and might even need a little bit of energy, hence where Izak probably came in.

What could she do to help? It was too annoying being stuck with no action. At the moment Rayil and Fyrthyrn seemed on the same level. But if Izak was helping Rayil maybe Fwrthyrn needed a little bit of help as well…

Slipping unnoticed into her invisibility Freya stepped out of the dark patch surrounding her, at first not sure whether it would follow her but seeing as she was invisible the dark patch of shadow vanished, having been replaced by light.

Pausing to let her whole body adjust to the bright light, light didn't really harm her-it might zap a little bit of her energy but she 'd never really admit that to anyone. Darting over to the general direction orFwrthyrn, Freya brought the air behind her to whoosh over to him, thinking that he might need a bit more air to breath.

Hoping to go unnoticed, Freya curled up, hiding in the flickering shadows of Fwrthyrn’s earth tentacles. It would be the worst of luck if someone drew attention to her…

Izak turned only to see Freya gone. It was quite obvious that she had gone to help the demon, after all it was fair. He was helping Rayil after all. Izak hovered over, just beneath Rayil. I'll help you.

Izak placed his hands on the white ground and closed his eyes. Sending his energy and controlling it to Rayil. His red eye supplied him with a small amount of energy so that he could keep going as well.
He just hoped that no one would attack him...

Ray felt some energy from Izak and sighed. THis wwas good, he just might beat the demon. He sensed Freya near him though. Damn, so as Izak was helping him, she would help the demon. Oh well, may as well make it fair. Ray was surprised when the demon stopped the light, but he really didn't care. This was going to be fun.

"I am not going anywhere. I have never run before, and I won't stoop to that for a demon," Ray spat hatefully.

Some demons where ok, but this one really got on his nerves. To allow Izak to see Freya, he used his wind to make the dirt swirl around her, revealing her shape. This would be fun. He felt a smile creep onto his face. He dissipated the wind around the demon, and drew the light back into himself. He held his sword up making the flames grow high upon it, and made his tails sharper, and made them be covered in fire. Time to deal with those vines...

Ray sped forward, swinging his sword and tails at the vines. He didn't care about the consequences of touching the vines, it was time to end the demon...

Fwrthyrn looked down at what the angel was doing. The dirt seemed to be in his control. Frowning, he muttered, "I don't think the dirt should be involved." With that, he undid the angel's work, covering Freya up again.

Looking up, he smirked, Now this was more like it...

He caught the angel's attack with his vines. It seemed as if they came alive somehow, wrapping tightly around his tail. Controlling the vines with his mind, evil emanated from his eye. He lashed his vines over his head, hoping the tail would follow also.

But the angel still did not know one thing and that would be his advantage.

Ray felt a tail grabbed and muttered angrily under his breath. Two could play at that game though. Ray sharpened the held tail, pulling backwards against the force of the demon's pull. He then sent two tails to fend off the vines, while the others sped towards the chest of the demon, becoming whistling, stilleto blades. Ray moved in closer and swung his sword as hard as he could at the demon's head...

When the dirt cloud had come her way Freya immediately thought that her cover would be blown, thanks to Fwrthyrn, at least she could still remain a little bit undetectable.

Freya squinted in Izak’s direction, not surprised to see him kneeling on the ground to give Rayil some more energy. No wonder he looked like he’d just drunk an extra energy high power drink.

Fwrthyn couldn’t defend all of those tails at once! Maybe this wouldbe the right time to act…
Muttering silently as Freya concentrated, she felt for the sword using her telekinesis, with one swift movement Freya wrenched the failing sword away from Rayil so that the sharp tip faced him, hovering.

Beads of sweat were beginning to shimmer on her forehead as she lashed mercilessly with the sword at Rayils tails one by one, firstly starting with the tails that were streaming towards Fwrthyrn’s chest. Since her eyes were closed in concentration, Freya had to do this blindly as her sight was restricted to a mere slit.

Clenching at the feeble weeds on the ground, Freya hoped that this would have the desired affect…

Fwrthyrn lost his control over the tail. The vines were shredded. Fwrthyrn widened his eyes as the tail sped towards his chest whilst his sword was aimed at his head. But then it was like something was intervening with everything. Everything was rebounding onto the angel.

The sword faced the other way, the tails chopped. But some still remained as they dug into Fwrthyrn. Gritting his teeth, he yanked them out and smashed them towards the angel using his telekinesis.

Vines surrounded him again, the darkness and evil radiating from his body.

Ray felt his sword being wrenched out of his grip. Damn, not good. Had to be Freya though. How to do this without hurting her.... Ray sighed, no time to think, only time to act. Ray let the tails become brittle so they would shatter harmlessly. He used his telekinesis to regain control of the sword and armed its defences against anyone other then a member of the Firesword family. Freya had better stop controlling the sword or she would die.

Ray landed on the ground next to Freya, ignoring the damn demon. He placed his hands on her shoulders and sighed.

"I wish you hadn't done that. Fine you don't want us to fight, so I will stop."

Ray sighed again, dropped his hands and dissipated the light. Ray began to walk away before turining to the demon, "This is not running away. This is doing something for a friend. Next time you won't be so lucky."

Ray grinned, turned and began to walk away again...
