Dawn considered Cressida's question. While she thought about it, she stood up and began walking slowly.

"Abilities...hmm...well, I'm good with my blades. And I can do a little fire magic...but nothing else really." she said, finally managing to string together a sentence. She stooped down and picked up a pebble. She didn't know why, she just did it.

"How about you?"

Cressida followed Dawn closely.

"Blades?" her ears perked up, "Really?" she asked surprised, yet happy. "I use blades as well. Can I have a look at yours?" Cressida asked hurriedly. What a coincidence, to find someone who was also skilled with the blades.

She didn't have anything else in connection with Dawn. The weapons were it.

"I have telekinesis and a healing factor. But they're weak. I'm more skilled with my blades," she replied, thinking. "I also have elasticity, but I don't like to use it. It feels.. odd," Cressida finished.

"Oh and I can shape-shift between human appearances," she smiled.

Dawn nodded. Cressida seemed to be interested in the fact that she used fighting blades.

"Yeah. As soon as I saw them, I fell in love with them. I refused to learn how to fight with any other weapon." she said.

She pulled out one of her blades and held it so that Cressida could see it clearly. The hilt was silver with pearl inset on the bottom. The blade however, was see through, as if it were glass.

"I don't know what the blade is made of exactly. The person I bought it from said it was some kind of stone or mineral or something." she said.

She grinned.
"Really? I can shape shift into a canis lupus or a grey wolf in English."

Cressida looked at the blade in awe, "Wow," she said breathlessly, marvelling the beauty of them.

"I bet..." she murmured, her eyes still on the blade, taking up all the details.

"I've never seen them before, or anything like it for that matter," Cressida carried on, "Just the usual blades and the usual metal. Do you think it does as much damage as a normal one?" she asked, finally breaking the contact by glancing at Dawn.

"Oh that's cool," Cressida nodded, "How did you know you could do that?"

Dawn considered Cressida's question.

"I don't know. I...well, haven't exactly had the chance to use them." at this point she avoided making eye contact with Cressida, feeling incredibly uncomfortable about what questions could arise from this.

Her step quickened without Dawn noticing.

"Hmmm? Oh, how I knew I could shape-shift?" she said. She smiled widely, "I could do it before I became an angel."

Cressida felt a shift in Dawn's tone. Looking at her, Cressida tried to read her expression, and noted that Dawn was hiding something. "Ok..." she said slowly, "What do you mean? Are you scared or something?"

She also saw that Dawn was edging in front. Cressida ran to catch up with her.

"Really? That's awesome," Cressida smiled, "How did you know you could do that?"
