Dawn flew over the forest, loving the feel of the early morning air on her face. The sun had not risen yet, which was exactly why she was heading where she was. To watch the sun rise. Which was kind of funny, considering her name.
She folded her wings and went into a dive, opening them again mere meters from the ground. She loved doing that.
Dawn landed and looked around. The sky was beginning to brighten, illuminating the forest around her. She began walking to the clearing, not wanting to miss the beautiful view.
Once at the clearing, she sat down and crossed her legs in a very unladylike fashion. But then again, Dawn had never been one to accept a 'womanly' figure. To a passerby, she may have looked like a male.
She sighed, and patiently waited for the sun to rise.

Cressida trudged through the forest, thinking about something. She looked up when she heard a noise. Noticing someone with wings, diving to the ground, she looked behind her.

Checking that no one was following her, she began to run towards the fallen person, or thing.

Hiding behind a tree, she peeped out and noticed it wasn't anyone she knew. Her face visibly fell, but she shrugged, it was always good to meet new people.

Cressida looked around her and noticed the sun was rising. She loved sun rises, but preferred sunsets over all.

Walking forward she casually asked, "So what brings you here then?"

She sat herself down, next to the person, and glanced sideways, waiting for an answer.

Dawn yawned and answered by habit.

"Came out here to watch the sunrise. Who wants to know?" she said. Then realising that she had answered openly to a complete stranger she shut up. She looked at the person beside her.

Dawn laughed awkwardly and ruffled her wings.
"Sorry. Old habits die hard." she said.

She smiled as the sun finally rose from behind the horizon and began its slow descent into the sky. She sighed.

"One of the best things in the world, sunsets."

Cressida sought an immediate connection. She didn't know many people who liked sunrises so she thought it would be safe to tell the person her name.

"Cressida Spiirosse," she replied. Spiirosse glanced at her wings, "And you? Angel?"

Looking away, she watched the sun rise, "Yeah, I think so too..." Cressida agreed.

Dawn savoured the feeling of the sun on her face.

"Dawn Gray. Pleased to meet you." she answered brightly, her spirits rising with the sun. She glanced over her shoulder at her wings and smiled.

"Ahh, yes. Pretty obvious what I am." she admitted, running a hand through her silver hair. She raised her eyebrows at Cressida' comment.

"Really? Not many people agree with me about that. I think they prefer sunsets." she said.

"That's a nice name," Cressida commented, smiling slightly.

"So... what happened?" she asked softly, looking at her, "If you don't mind me asking," Cressida added hastily, "I mean, I know a few angels myself..."

She shrugged, "Both are awesome in my words. Although sunsets are more impressive by an inch. Not to mention you have to wake up quite early to get a good sunrise."

Cressida loved the feeling of the sunrise and its serenity of it.

Dawn felt slightly embarrassed.

"Thank you. Never been complimented on my name before." she replied happily. She hesitated when asked about her becoming an angel. She thought for a moment.

"Well...I'm still trying to figure that out myself to tell you the truth," she said sheepishly, "...that's why I'm trying to find another angel. To help me find some answers."

She shrugged and sat back, accidentally banging her head on the ground. She yelped loudly.
"Oww..." she groaned, rocking back and forth, rubbing her head.

Cressida smiled, "It's no problem."

"Ah right, I see."

She paused and thought, "I know a few angels, Rayil and Izak. They'll help you, I'm sure of it."

Cressida's face took on a note of sympathy, "Ouch... You ok? I can take some of the pain away if you want..." she offered.

Looking away, she sighed. "So where do you normally hang? I haven't seen you around, and I've pretty much been all over the place."

Dawn muttered something about the bad placement of trees before sitting back up.

"Ahh, yes. A friend of mine suggested Rayil as well. But I haven't heard of Izak before. I must remind myself to find them." she said.

She grinned widely.
"Nah, it's okay. I'll manage, but thanks for the offer." she said.

She thought for a moment, rocking backwards and forwards. She tapped her fingers against her thigh as she talked.
"I don't really have a hang-spot. I guess I could be considered the 'newbie' around these parts." she said. She stretched her arms above her head and yawned.

"I think I might go for a walk, wanna come with?"

Cressida nodded, "I don't know where they normally hang. They go all over the place. Although Izak works at the College near here," she suggested.

"Newbie..." she tasted, "Yeah sure, I'll be happy to," Cressida answered, smiling.

She stood up and stifled a yawn herself. Rolling her neck, she flexed her fingers. Sighing, she turned round and waited for Dawn to stand up as well.

"Do you have any abilities?"
