Graphics... Scrap that, I want to know if anyone here is interested in art, or fiddled with it. It can basically be anything within art, as art is a massive subject...

Abstract, Surreal, Paintings, Pencil Drawings, Graphics, or even Photography :P

Oh! And if you know any programming...

How long have you been doing it for? Why and How did you come across it?

Let's see...

I started making simple websites, 2 years ago. That went really wrong... But then I made another site 1 year ago, and that went well. Something happened, but on September, I planned for a new site with, would you believe it, Draconias :P

So you can see the site we have here...

Then 1 year ago, I started to get into coding and graphics... but more graphics than coding. I know a tiny bit of coding... but that's about it. Mostly what I do code-based is logic...

But graphics... I use Paint Shop Pro XI, Photoshop CS3, Jasc Animation Shop 3, I used to have GIMP before I got Photoshop. Gimp is a lot like Photoshop.

I use Photoshop more than Paint Shop Pro, because there's more tools, and more freedom. I use Animation Shop to make my animated gifs.

So that's graphics based.

Then I joined DeviantART. It's a site worth joining! It's meant to be a haven for art... but you can generally hang around there...

I started getting into photography then. Photography enlarged my focus of the world... I always carry a camera around with me, but I mainly take photos of the sky, sunset, sunrise, clouds, that sort of thing. Maybe plants, birds, statues and buildings...

I love fantasy artwork. Just because it's unreal and yet so... real, if you get what I mean. Surreal, Cubism, Abstract, all lovely stuff :P

I think that's it... But anyway, what about you?

Oh, I do art by pencil/pens. XP I also do MS Paint art too, which I found out about quite a few years ago. I'm really desparate to get PhotoShop, I hear it's the best art programme ever, as well as the Corel Art too. T_T
I have an account on Elfwood with (nearly) all the art that I've done so far, though they aren't as good as a lot of other people's art! The bad thing about it is that you can only store up too 100 pictures and that's it. :( Yup, I agree - DeviantArt is the best site for showig off art. LOL

Cool! I suck at drawing.. so I don't bother. *nods* Photoshop is...
Coral art's cool... Both are easy, but I find Photoshop having more features, more things to download ect.

Showing off may be :P But DA is great for friends as well. I've found some good friends over there, of which I've invited 5 onto this site. But, it's also good for downloads like brushes for Photoshop.

Plus people criticise and praise your work... which is cool...

Have you joined DA?

I really suck at drawing too...
But I'm keen on photography, poetry and music.
My poems and photographies can be seen on DeviantArt and some songs on myspace but they actually suck

Yay!

Poetry and quotes are awesome to have in your signature...

Go music!

What do you like about music? And yes, we are going off topic, but music is also art!

Don't get me started on music!

I once talked about it with someone at a party. We spent 4 hours talking about it. Since then, he never says the word "music" when he is talking to me since he is too afraid I could spend 4 hours again to discourse on this subject.

So, to put it in a nutshell, I love music. :D

Yeah, I've joined DA but my account is on my school one and they've blocked it. T_T Never mind, I'll think of a plan.
Music's quite cool as well. Our teacher taught us about how people just don't seem to appreciate how much time, effort, heart has been put into it.

lol! Anime style is cool :P I love anime music :D I'm in my school's choir, in a section called contralto, alto for short because I've got a deep voice, but not so that it's recognised as a male though... although come to think of it... Excellent stuff! Good luck!

Really? Do you go on at home? Because if you do, I'll add you as a friend :P I've also got an account. The link's in my profile.

Yeah, I agree with that...

I think we need to make a thread on the topic of music... There's just too many music fans here, to not to.
