When you visit a role-playing forum, what do you expect from it? What do you think it should have? What makes it fun for you?

That being said, what do you want for Realms of Mythiule to have?

I don't expect any more than what you have.

Any concerns of mine are in different posts (such as INACTIVE MEMBERS!).

Anyway, it would be a tiny bit nice (this really is no big deal) to put a little more (I said little) restrictions on power.
Such as, the fact that we have to post a certain amount to get a power, but not how much of that power we can get (like strength)

You do not have to do this because it would be kind of hard and take some time to do.

*by the way, nice quote. The answer is faith in my religion*

I made that up, actually. And it's asking for people who DON'T believe in it. ;)

We do have restrictions on powers...but it doesn't seem to be enforced. We do have a plan for this site, we really do, we're just in limbo right now...

Yes, but you can also say the opposite. How do you know Heaven and Hell do exist, if you've never been there?

The inactive members is a good one Wellby.

The power system, Hmm... I reckon limbo is a safe place to be... :P

The way I'm thinking of how this can be enforced is if we have a system similar to Renquist's.

But yes, nice thread Draco.

I have no problems with the site so far. But is there some kind of time period set for RoM? I recently created a topic in the Bar where my character was using copper coins, but after I posted it I realized I don't even know what kind of currency RoM uses lol.

*deletes double post*

We do have a currency system of sorts...but we don't really use/need it at this point. Again, we are in limbo...but we still want to know what you would like to see happen to this site.

Oh and Ruane, the point of this is, the "New World" did not exist because no one knew of it's existence outside of it's inhabitants. So Heaven and Hell most likely do exist, we just cant see them yet.

There are actually three heavens described in the bible.

"And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day." Genesis 1:6-8

the following three verses describe what God did during the second day of his creation of the world. Firmament means "support" or sky. God created the sky to divide the waters of the ocean between the water in the sky or the couds. He called this firmament heaven which we know today as the sky.

That same chapter another heaven is described.

"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days , and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:14-18

This is describing the fourth day when God made the sun, moon and stars. He placed all these things in the firmament of heaven to give light to the earth. We obviously dont have the sun and moon in the sky, so God placed them all in another heaven that we know today as the universe.

The last heaven is of course the Kingdom of God. I think everyone knows about that one lol.

"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them." Genesis 2:1 The seventh day of rest.

Hell also exists and is mentioned more often in the Bible then heaven, much more often..... like a 3-1 deal.

I truly beleive that the Kingdom of God exists. After all his other two heavens exist and we see them everyday.

All the following verses were taken out of my Scofield Study Bible containing the old and new testaments. King James Version (the one without any alterations)

I don't think there is a time period per se... I mean, everything happening here should happen in reality, with the exception of the fantasy stuff.

Just thinking. Is Heaven and Hell literally above and below us? Or is everything in a separate ... plain... kind of spectral kind of thing? :S

Well.. it's good you've got such a strong faith ... I guess.

Why are we talking about Heaven and Hell?

Anyway, overall I think this place is great...
Only thing is, I'm starting to get a little annoyed with the people that I am RPing with and they DO NOT REPLY! I wanna RP and I want other people to reply to it you know?
Especially when the thread is getting real good and then they don't reply in like...I dunno, A MONTH?
It's like reading a book really, the suspense kills you.

Wellby started it!

But yes, it was due to Draco's signature. I reckon a bit of sideline talk always help progress threads.

Hmm...

What you mean is that we need more people who are active, or turn the people we already have to active members.

It's the way of the site, I'm afraid. Did you know that approximately 10% of all and every site (a general rule in fact) of people are active?

Thing is, is that you can either email them, or PM them to say that they've still got a thread going on and they need to finish it. Some people just forget, you know?

And reality is almost always more important than the site. The site's just meant for fun... They'll get around to it once they're ready and have time.

PM them. If you want other people to role-play, PM them. Like Thul'Duun, who wants people to PM him before he joins in any threads.
