Bob woke up. The sun blared in his golden eyes.

Blinking, he looked around, surveying the vast mountains before him.
"Where am I?", he wondered.

Upon looking around a second time, he saw a shape up ahead.

"Hey you!", Bob shouted.

Cressida stood and looked out into the space before her. She sighed, her eyes changing colour. This was the place where she fell, the place where everything went wrong.

Frowning, she scored the ground for clues but couldn't find any. About to go further, a voice caught her attention.

She turned around and narrowed her eyes as a slightly dishevelled sort of person called out. Reaching for the blades in her belt, Cressida whisked them out expertly before walking slowly towards the figure.

"Yes?" she answered, raising an eyebrow.

Bob saw the blades come out. Not intimidated in the least, he walked straight to the girl.

"Hey, this is hard to explain, but I just appeared in these mountains. Can you tell me where I am?", Bob inquired.

A thought struck him just as he finished the sentence. "Oh, and have you seen a short, red haired person walk by? He is probably wearing black robes. I am looking for him."

Cressida looked at the male coldly as he didn’t seem to be affected by her weapons. He walked towards her in fact and that made Cressida’s awareness rise even further. She seemed to relax slightly when the male explained why he called out to her in the first place.

"Where you are?" she repeated, sheathing her knives. Her eyes turned from brown to blue as she studied the male thoughtfully, "You're in the wilderness, just outside the Town of Stranraer," Cressida mused, a bemused look on her face.

She shook her head, "No I haven’t seen him. Why are you looking for him? Is he a companion?"

Cressida paused, "Anyway, who are you? What are you? You obviously don’t know these parts very well and I’ve never seen the likes of you before," her eyes travelling down him before looking up again.

Stranraer? Where is that? Bob thought. Turning to this strange figure he answered, "Yes, he is a good friend of mine. You see, I got separated from him. I knew he was in a frantic search for someone, so I had to pick up his trail. Somewhere in my journey, I must have been transported here."

He noticed the eyes changing color. "Wow!", Bob explained, "I've never seen eyes change color before! How do you do it?"

"Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. I am Bob Al'Joe, I am an elven pirate. Who might you be?" Bob asked, while surveying her (if that's what it was) figure.

Cressida watched him silently while he explained. She frowned, "Well I doubt you'll find him here... It's quite sparse. But if you go into the Town, you might have some luck."

She smiled, "I can change it to any colour I like," Cressida answered, her eyes responding by flashing a multitude of colours before resting on brown. "I'm a shape shifter between human appearances," she carried on. With that, Cressida's hair dyed to a black, her face morphed into a blank slate with scars and piercings. A second later, it seemed as if everything sucked within her for she was back to normal.

"Elven pirate?" she asked rhetorically, raising an eyebrow. "Huh." Cressida scratched head absently, having not met an elf before, and certainly not an elven pirate.

"I'm Cressida Spiirosse."

"Yes, he will probably go to town. Probably in some tavern setting a drinking record." Bob said.

"Shape Shifter, I wouldn't mind being one, it sounds like fun." stated Bob. 'Wellby might know what they are' Bob thought.

He regarded the 'huh'. "What's so 'huh' about elven pirates? I know they are not common, but they have been heard of. Have you heard of them?" Bob inquired.

"Cressida..." Bob let the name roll off his tongue. "I like your name. Powerful, yet elegant."

Cressida smiled, "That would be most likely."

She shrugged, "I've never met an elf before," she explained, "And you definitely don't find any pirates here. Elven pirates? No... what exactly do you do to earn that title?"

"Thanks... not sure about the elegant though," Spiirosse replied.

Pausing, she thought for a while, "Do you have any abilities? Any powers?"

Bob looked at her curiously, "Title? Do you even know what a pirate is?" He inquired.

"I don't have very many 'powers' I guess. I just use my weapons to get through. But I can track things very well, and I can survive in the wilderness for as long as I want. I can be very stealthy as well, I find it quite fun." Bob stated.

"Why do you ask?"

Cressida looked at Bob steadily, "Of course I do," she said, "Well... kind of," she relented. "I mean, I've read them in books and stuff, but I've never actually met one. What I meant by title, was what defines you as a pirate? What do you do?" Cressida finished, putting more emphasis. "Or do you just do the clichéd things?"

Weapons? Cressida caught onto the word, knowing that she had found something in common. "What weapons do you have?" Spiirosse asked, her face alight with interest.

She shrugged nonchalantly, "Just wondered.. I want to know what or who I'm up against."
