Wellby stuttered at the question.

He thought for a second. "No. I'm not. I come from a land much different than this one. I challenged the god's there."

He turned the question around. "Are you from around here?"

He quickly looked around for any others.

His right wing folded over his chest and he petted it like an evil scientist would his cat. What is it with evil scientists and cats?

"Do you see many beings in this world with wings?"

But then again he wasn't from around here so obviously he wouldn't. Also there was the knowledge of other earth bound angels that he was yet to discover. That and many other beings that he had yet to encounter. Lot of weird people in this realm. But then again he was probably the most strangest.

You don't see too many people who use an instrument as a weapon of choice.

"I'm what is known as an angel. Like you I am not from this realm but from a higher plain as it were. A kingdom reserved for the souls of men who have repented of thier evils and accepted God as their one and only savior."

He forgotten that he was planning on leaving.

"So what are you doing here then mind reader?" mind reader was said with a little bit of disgust. Not intentional, he just doesnt like having his mind read. It was like a woman being raped with the eyes of men with their perverse glares and foul thoughts. Amadeus assumed that a woman would feel the same way he did in his situation.

Wellby grinned his childish grin. He had seen a winged being once, excluding the various birds. But for the sake of fun and insanity, he chose to play some mind games. Not mind reading, of course, which he couldn't do, but some confusion.

He called to the dark again, the shadows. It came slowly, almost exaggerated. The darkness swirled around his shoulders. Then, seemingly sudden, wings were at his sides, in the form of dark and shadow.

"Higher plain, isn't that kind of discriminating?"
