Hey, I've made this "Logo" and I would like your opinion about it. Etc. less of this and more of that, change that into this or vice versa (I think you get the idea ).

Well, overall, it's a great piece of work. I don't really see anything to improve on etc.

The border doesn't really go well with the image. Too jagged, whereas the inside is more fluid and smooth, so that gives a slightly odd appearance. Maybe if you intertwined it with something or merged... The border's too bold so it distracts us. A bevel look, or 3D might be better.

I like the smudgey effects but have the person sharper looking than the rest of the image. Not by a lot, just enough.

The word Jonas needs to be more bold, I think, but I do like the reflection. Have the initial bolder and the reflection lighter in comparison with maybe a shadow/highlight slanting faintly.

Meh, it's just my opinion. I've tried to be picky with it. They're all little things really.

It's a good piece, although were you intending the colours to be so... plain? Sorry for the bluntness.

I reckon one burst of colour/boldness will do wonders.

No offence but it's a bit.. airy fairy.

Maybe have the rose coloured... thinking about it.

You are right about the border, the picture was meant to become something else when I made it and it doesn't really fit. Maybe I'll replace it with something wavy instead.

And when you mentioned the name, I look up and I find a fatal error... the upper flower isn't faded at all when the rest of the name is...

I tried to make the upper name more bolder, but PS didn't agree with me. It wasn't anything between. Probably a layer that hates me.

I can inform all you of something right away: I am not a colour man I like one-coloured and noir styles. That is the person I am. I don't even like colourful clothes, black, white, maybe blue or red but there goes the limit.

If I could choose between a black rose and a red rose, I would have gone with the black.

Hmm… Depends what version you’ve got I guess. I’ve got the most recent one and whenever I make a name, it makes a new layer so I can apply any style to it I want, thus making it bolder. But yeah, the layer probably does hate you…

I think the Tarja one is really good.

That is exactly my preference of design.
Black, white and red always look stunning together, with that mysterious smokey look.

Excellent job. Love it. Not only does it have my favourite singer in it, but my favourite colour mix and design style.

PS. If anything, if it is possible, try experimenting with the smoke that comes around her chest, maybe make it a little less transparent. It just looks (to me) a little out of place.

Yes, Nemo is my number two favourite album with her. My absolute favourite album from Nightwish is Oceanborn. My number three must be Over The Hills And Far Away.

And you are perfectly right, the smoke should be more transparent, but again, the layers are against me. The smoke you see over her is actually really long, since when I started it, I took a long one just to have much to work with. So when I now try to edit it, I edit it in the wrong place and it doesn't show at all

I have to sneak up on Photoshop... tricking it, trying to fool it to do what I want it to do. And if it works out, so much the better.

And if you really liked it, you are allowed to use it at other forum boards if you want to. Nothing pleases me more than seeing others using my signatures.

I can't believe they kicked her out of the band! Their new singer Anette is really bad. (in my opinion)

Well, not bad, but her voice is shallow compared to Tarja's, it doesn't have as many layers per say and is not as well structured.

But they're just my opinions.

Have you seen their version of the phantom of the opera? Marco sings the part really well and Tarja adds a lot of depth.

ANYWAY... The Sanji one is good too. I think that the colours all compliment each other nicely.
